March 31, 2003 27 Adar II 5763

Deceit is in the heart of those who devise evil, but counselors of peace have joy. No harm befalls the righteous, but the wicked are filled with trouble. Lying lips are an abomination to the LORD, but those who deal faithfully are His delight. Proverbs 12:20-22

US LAWMAKERS TO INTRODUCE BILL PROTECTING ISRAEL’S HOLY SITES

Senator Lindsey Graham's and Congressman Joe Wilson's Resolution to protect and open up all holy sites in the State of Israel and nearby territory is slated to be publicly introduced tomorrow, Tuesday, at 10:30 am.

Christian Coalition lobbying teams have been visiting over 55 Senators and some 150 Members of the U.S. House explaining the concurrent resolution authored by Senator Lindsey Graham, R-SC, and Congressman Joe Wilson, R-SC which addresses the protection of religious sites mainly in and near Israel and the freedom of access and worship in these sites. Since the beginning of the wave of terror some 30 months ago, neither Jews nor Christians have been permitted to go to the Temple Mount. Joseph's tomb in Nablus has been off limits and Bethlehem as well, among other locations.

Senators James Inhofe, R-OK and Rick Santorum, R-PA are original cosponsors of the Senate bill. Representatives Jo Ann Davis, R-VA, Jeff Miller, R-FL, and Mario Diaz-Balart, R-FL are original cosponsors of House bill. Christian Coalition activists are encouraged to attend the press conference introducing the Graham/Wilson Resolution in Room G-11 of the Dirksen Senate Office Building tomorrow.

Senators and Congressmen need to be urged to become original co-sponsors of Senator Lindsey Graham's and Congressman Joe Wilson's Resolution to protect the holy sites and to open up all holy sites for access to visitors.
