ANOTHER ‘ABSURDITY’ OF POLITICAL CORRECTNESS
One of the worst atrocities ever committed by an American against his own fellow soldiers was committed in Kuwait. An African American who is a recent convert to the Muslim religion tossed three hand grenades into three separate tents that were packed with sleeping soldiers of the elite 101st Airborne Division.
One tent was the command HQ’s filled with officers. One soldier has died and several others were seriously wounded.
The way this terrible incident is being handled by the Military investigators and the media would be comical if it were not so desperately serious. No one dares to call it an atrocity motivated by the man’s belief in the Muslim religion. Everyone is going to extremes to find some personal motive that is not in any way related to the soldier’s Islamic faith.
The preposterous theory that the soldier was disgruntled over an officer’s reprimand was immediately concocted. Every news correspondent covering the incident has danced all over the place to keep that theory as the motive for the atrocity.
What in the world is going on in our country? Is everyone afraid to call a spade a spade? Has the Muslim Religion become untouchable?
The things taught by Islam, especially by the Fundamentalists, can clearly motivate a young impressionable convert to do such a deed.
One soldier on the scene asked a reporter that if the suspect did this deed because of the reprimand of a superior officer, then why did he attack men and officers who were not in his unit? Why did he go after the leadership? Why did he try to kill as many as he could? Were his feelings hurt that badly?
It is time that we stop making every effort to avoid labeling the Muslim Religion for what it is – a religion that often breeds violent fanatics.
We should at least begin the investigation of this murder with these facts considered as prime evidence.
